Seán Virgo


Seán Virgo was born in Malta, and grew up in South Africa, Ireland and the UK. He became a Canadian citizen in 1972 and has lived in Haida Gwaii, Newfoundland, various Gulf Islands, the Bruce Peninsula and, for the last few years, in southwest Saskatchewan. His first publications were poetry, but he is better known for his short fiction collections, including White Lies, Wormwood, Waking in Eden, A Traveller Came By and Begging Questions, and a novel, Selakhi. A new collection of stories, Dibidalen, has just been published.
